***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** December 3, 2024 SAUKVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT and VIA ZOOM 649 E. GREEN BAY AVE., SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 6:48 p.m. Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice. Rudolph/Smith made a motion to approve minutes of November 19, 2024. Motion Carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Hebein thanked the Village Board for a productive year and wished the Village Board and Staff a Happy Holiday. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Wagner wished the Village Board and Village Staff a Happy Holiday. Clerk Friede provided an update on the Post-election Audit on the Election Equipment. Audit was completed on Saturday, November 23, 2024 on the Dominion Voting – Image Cast Evolution (ICE) voting system. The final hand- count tally total is compared to the election night voting system results. The election equipment was 100% accurate. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Resolution #1416 - Resolution Providing for the Sale of Approximately $2,575,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes, Series 2025A Nowlen/P. Duckart made a motion to waive the reading of Resolution #1416 - Resolution Providing for the Sale of Approximately $2,575,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes, Series 2025A. Motion Carried. Smith/P. Duckart made a motion to approve Resolution #1416 - Resolution Providing for the Sale of Approximately $2,575,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes, Series 2025A. Motion Carried. Next Meeting Scheduled December 17, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Finance Committee Hebein reported on the meeting of November 19, 2024. 2025 Property/Liability/Worker’s Compensation Insurance P. Duckart /Smith made a motion to approve the 2025 Property/Liability/Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Motion Carried. Ozaukee Central Fire Department (OCFD) Intergovernmental Agreement – Amendment #2 Nowlen/Smith made a motion to approve the Ozaukee Central Fire Department (OCFD) Intergovernmental Agreement – Amendment #2. Motion Carried. Fire Department – Facility Upgrade Project (Sleeping Quarters) J. Duckart/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Fire Department – Facility Upgrade Project (Sleeping Quarters) in the amount of $24,671.80 from the Fire Department Reserve Fund. Motion Carried. Lease Agreement – Saukville Chamber of Commerce Rudolph/P. Duckart made a motion to approve the Lease Agreement – Saukville Chamber of Commerce. Motion Carried. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission Reviewed and approved the Ground Sign Permit Application for Fox Brothers Piggly Wiggly at 810 E. Green Bay Ave. Review and approved the proposed 42,445 sq. ft. Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) – Anitas Gardens, Architectural Plans, Site Plan, Utilities, Storm Water Management Plan, Water and Sanitary Sewer Plans, Lighting, Parking and Landscaping Plans, located in Northern Gateway Development contingent upon: • Final review and approval of the Storm Water Management Plan and Sanitary Sewer Plans by the Village Engineer (Ruekert-Mielke). • All required permits are obtained and all required fees (review fees, impact fees, utility connection fees, and any other applicable fees) are paid prior to the commencement of construction.
