Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.
Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice.

REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Hebein thanked everyone from the Saukville Area Historical Society for the years of dedication and hard work
keeping the Historical Society around for many years.

Wagner thanked the Saukville Area Historical Society for all they have done for the Village of Saukville.

Hebein reported on the meeting of June 17, 2025
Review and possible recommendation as to the Village of Saukville’s Right of First Refusal to exercise or
waive its right to Repurchase the Property located at 200 N. Mill Street, Village of Saukville, WI (Tax Key
No. 11-050-02-09-002) for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) from the Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc.,
based upon the Saukville Area Historical Society Inc.’s wishes to convey the Property to a third party,
according to the Termination of Option and Right of Refusal Agreement recorded in the Ozaukee County
Register of Deeds on October 8, 2002, as Document No. 723805 in Vol. 1539 and Pages 145-147.
Hoeft requested that the motion includes an authorization for the Village Attorney to prepare a Notice of
Waiver for the Right of First Refusal to be recorded with the property at the Ozaukee County Register of Deeds.
This will ensure the title of the property is clear, and the Village of Saukville has waived its right of first
refusal to repurchase the property.
P. Duckart/Nowlen made a motion to waive the Village of Saukville’s Right of First Refusal to Repurchase the
Property located at 200 N. Mill Street, Village of Saukville, WI (Tax Key No. 11-050-02-09-002) for the sum of
One Dollar ($1.00) from the Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc., based upon the Saukville Area Historical
Society Inc.’s wishes to convey the Property to a third party, according to the Termination of Option and Right
of Refusal Agreement recorded in the Ozaukee County Register of Deeds on October 8, 2002, as Document No.
723805 in Vol. 1539 and Pages 145-147 and authorize the Village Attorney to prepare a Notice of Waiver of the
Right of First Refusal to be recorded with the property at the Ozaukee County Register of Deeds. Motion
Carried.
Review and possible action as to the Village of Saukville’s approval of the Saukville Area Historical Society,
Inc.’s plan to convey title and transfer possession of the 1937 GMC Fire Truck, VIN 12396325 (the
“Truck”) to the Ozaukee County Historical Society based upon the dissolution of the Saukville Area
Historical Society, Inc., according to the Agreement dated April 21, 2009, between the Village and the
Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc.
Hoeft explained the Agreement between the Village and the Saukville Area Historical Society (SAHS) states the
Village of Saukville can give written approval to the SAHS, as requested by the SAHS, to convey the title of the
1937 GMC Fire Truck to a third party, such as the Ozaukee County Historical Society.
Nowlen/Donen made a motion to approve the Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc.’s plan to convey title and
transfer possession of the 1937 GMC Fire Truck, VIN 12396325 (the “Truck”) to the Ozaukee County Historical
Society based upon the dissolution of the Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc., according to the Agreement
dated April 21, 2009, between the Village and the Saukville Area Historical Society, Inc. Motion Carried.

Approved the Extraterritorial Land Division by Certified Survey Map (CSM) submitted by Matthew Sheahan,
agent for Catherine A. Phillips, Trustee of Elda V. Bunk Living Trust, property owner of 2803 Orchard Lane,
Town of Saukville, WI, Tax Key No. 08-034-01-00-200, seeking to divide 100 acres (+ or -) parcel into two
parcels, one of 90.247 acres (Lot 1) and the other 10.005 acres (Lot 2).
