SAXONBURG BOROUGH Agenda April 18th, 2023 Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Correspondence - On March 28th, the Borough received an invitation to The Butler County Boroughs Association dinner meeting at the Monroe Hotel in Butler on May 18th at 6:00 p.m. Guest speakers include members of (Daughters of the Revolution). - On March 29th, The Borough received notice that the Grant through the Department of Conservation, Parks and Recreation for 2023 was not awarded to Roebling Park for the Gazebo roof. - On March 30th, the Borough received a request from SABA for Main Street to be closed for the Octoberfest Parade September 7th 2023 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and for the Holiday Parade November 24th 2023 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saba is also requesting “No Parking” signs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on both days prior to the Parades so that cars are not parked on Main Street. - On March 31st, the Borough received a request by the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire company for street closures on Tuesday, June 27th 2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Pet Parade and Tuesday June 29th 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Fireman’s Parade. In addition, decrease adjustments in March from the Borough General Fund in the amount of $13,110.44 of which $6,650.58 was the Borough’s portion of the expense, $1,686.77 was the Park’s portion, and $4,773.09 was the Authority’s portion of the expense. Checks paid from the Authority’s Revenue Fund, of which $2,366.62 is the Borough’s portion of the expense, $96.67 is the Park’s portion, and $53,994.68 is the Authority’s expense for a total of $56,457.97. In addition, decrease adjustments from the Authority’s Revenue fund in the amount of $40,090.95 of which $5,224.95 was the Borough’s portion, and $1,143.96 was the Park’s portion. Also, Payroll for March 2023 in the amount of $88,198.68 of which $30,411.90 is the Borough’s portion of the expense and $57,786.78 is the Authority’s portion of the expense.
