Minutes of Schenectady Urban Renewal Agency City Hall Room 110 November 25, 2013 Present: Chair Mayor Gary McCarthy Members: Denise Brucker, Carl Erikson, Peggy King, Leesa Perazzo, Marion Porterfield, Vincent Riggi Staff: Steven Strichman, John Polster Absent: Barbara Blanchard  Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 6:53 p.m.  Acceptance of minutes of November 4, 2013 – A motion to accept made by Mr. Riggi was seconded by Ms. King and passed unanimously.  Transfer ownership of Robinson Building & Silver Diner Site to City - Resolution 2013-16. Mr. Polster reviewed the option that Metroplex has with the city to purchase the three vacant lots of 238, 240 and 248 State Street. They are preparing to execute this option, so the property needs to go back into City Title. Mr. Strichman explained that included on the resolution is also the transfer of the contiguous site where the Silver Diner previously stood at 167 Erie Boulevard. This property is needed for the mixed-use development under negotiation, but is not part of the Metroplex option with the City. Ms. Porterfield made a motion to transfer the four properties to the city, which was seconded by Mr. Riggi and passed unanimously.  Transfer ownership of 219 Front Street to City - Resolution 2013-17 Mr. Polster explained that City ownership of this property has been challenged in a law suit by person that made a loan to the developer of the site. To settle the law suit, Mr. Polster has negotiated a deal that will bring $10,000 to the city and quickly have the property restored and placed back on the tax rolls. A motion to transfer the property to the City made by Ms. Perazzo was seconded by Ms. Brucker and passed unanimously.  Adjourn. There being no other business to come before the Board, a motion to adjourn made by Mr. Erikson was seconded by Ms. Porterfield and passed unanimously. Mr. McCarthy declared the meeting adjourned at 6:57
