OPENING Call to Order: Council President Porter called the meeting to order at 7:13p.m.  It was motioned by Councilmember Love and Seconded by Councilmember Raynor to begin the Closed Session. The motion carried. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Hope Love, Councilmember Shireka McCarthy, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk Absent: None The City Council, Interim Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Police and Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer and City Clerk met in a Closed Session for the purpose General Provisions Art. § 3-305(b) (1) “To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals” (8) “To consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation.” The meeting was adjourned at 9:11p.m. The Closed Session was held via Zoom Webinar.
