OPENING Call to Order: Council President Porter called the meeting to order at 8:35p.m.  It was motioned by Councilmember Sistrunk and Seconded by Councilmember Raynor to begin the Closed Session. The motion carried. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Shireka McCarthy, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk Absent: Councilmember Hope Love The City Council, Interim City Manager, Chief of Police and Interim Deputy City Manager and City Clerk met in a Closed Session for the purpose General Provisions Art. § 3-305(b) (1) “To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals” (8) “To consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation.” The meeting was adjourned at 10:15p.m. The Closed Session was held via Zoom Webinar.
