OPENING Call to Order: Council President Porter called the meeting to order at 6:15p.m. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Hope Love (Late), Vice Mayor Shireka McCarthy, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk It was motioned by Councilmember Sistrunk and seconded by Councilmember Raynor to enter the Closed Session with the Interim City Manager, City Attorney and Staff Assistant under §3-305 (7). “To consult with counsel to obtain legal advice” The City Council, Interim City Manager, City Attorney and Staff Assistant met in a Closed Session for the purpose § 3-305(b) "(7) To consult with counsel to obtain legal advice regarding the dissolving of three entities. The Closed Session was held via Zoom Webinar. Purpose: To discuss the dissolving of three entities Members who voted to meeting in closed session: Higgs, Porter, Raynor, Scott and Sistrunk Authority under §3-305 for the closed session: (7) To consult with counsel to obtain legal advice Topics actually discussed: The city attorney advised the council on dissolving three entities Action taken: The City Council agreed to pay the dissolution fees to close the three entities.
