Accessible Pedestrian Signals Jeff Schmitt, Planning Projects Coordinator, presented on a draft of the Accessible Pedestrian Signals report that is being worked on by Pedestrian Committee. Discussion included education of drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists. Members discussed using letters of recommendations to advocate for the education piece. Wes Phillips and Heath Hoftiezer discussed their experience using APSs during a sight impaired simulation exercise. b. Capital Improvement Plan Chairperson Fletcher Lacock presented this item. He discussed specific portions of the Capitol Improvements Plan that related to active transportation. Board members discussed the relationship between priorities and budgeting. c. Committee Updates Path Subcommittee Report: Discussion focused on the Brandon Valley School District. Bike Subcommittee Report: This was the first month this meeting was held entirely online. Topics discussed included the CIP and 15th Street Bike Boulevard. Lacock discussed Jaunt Bike Share. Pedestrian Subcommittee Report: Discussion focused on the APS Report presented earlier in this meeting. ADJOURN Lacock adjourned the meeting at 9:30 am.
