Board Member Bradley Hartmann seconded the motion. The motion Passed 7 to 0. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Board Member Sims made the motion to approve the minutes. Board Member Holmquest seconded the motion. The motion Passed 7 to 0. Educational Campaign Scripts and Topics Fletcher Lacock went over the ideas that were submitted by the Pedestrian Board. Discussion followed over those topics that were submitted. Board Member Palfy asked the group what the purpose of the education was and how do we engage the public. She asked if videos were the best method. Board Member Hutchinson asked, if they did do videos, how would they be accessed and distributed. Board Member Hartmann and Pickard repeated the intent to direct education efforts towards children as the audience. Board Member Holmquest stated that some education should be targeted towards adults, such the topic of trail etiquette. Board Member Palfy suggested it would be helpful for the city to gather data on situations that are proving dangerous and could benefit from more public education. Board Member Sims felt that the Board should take a look at the bylaws of the board and revisit them. Discussion followed. No action was taken on the item with the intent that staff provide further information and data. b. Project updates Lacock presented the item and identified three projects that were active or completed over the last month. Discussion followed regarding construction detours. Discussion followed. The board requested that the topic of construction detours be placed on future agendas. NEW BUSINESS ADJOURN Board Member Richie Hutchinson made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Board Member Palfy seconded the motion. The motion Passed 7 to 0.
