MINUTES Budget Working Session Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Present: David Barranco, Sarah Cole, Alex Jensen, Rich Merkouris, Greg Neitzert, Marshall Selberg, Curt Soehl Absent: Pat Starr Council Chair Curt Soehl called the meeting to order at 2 p.m. 2. Discussion Topic(s) A. Revenue Sources: General Fund and Capital Improvement Fund Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst, reviewed: revenue sources from the general fund and capital fund; government assistance funds and uses; and, additional project funding. B. Government Assistance Funds and Uses C. Additional Project Funding 3. Council Priorities Discussion Council Chair Curt Soehl stated that the purpose of the working session was to familiarize new councilors with previous priorities discussions and to give all councilors and opportunity to share their current priorities. The budget timeline was reviewed along with the status of government assistance funds. The Council proceeded to discuss several previous budget priorities from previous years and explored possibilities for future budgets. 4. Public Comment There was none. 5.
