MINUTES Thursday, June 15, 2017 Districting Commission Meeting 5:30 PM Carnegie Town Hall 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Debra Elofson, James Fry, Mark Millage, Jason Wierenga Members Absent: Jeffrey Eckhoff 1. 5:30 – 6 p.m. Open House The open house was held from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. 2. 6 p.m. Call to Order Commission Chair James Fry called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. 3. Presentations A. Section 6.02, Sioux Falls City Charter Jeff Schmitt, Chief Planning and Zoning Official, reviewed Section 6.02(d), Districting Plan Criteria, of the City Charter. B. Option F (Recommended Plan) Commission Member Mark Millage reviewed Option F. C. Summary of Options B & E Schmitt reviewed Options B & E. 4. Public Comment There was no public comment. 5. Open Discussion There was no open discussion. 6. Adjournment A motion made by Mark Millage and seconded by Debra Elofson to adjourn at 6:14 p.m. Commission Chair James Fry called for a voice vote.
