MINUTES Saturday, June 17, 2017 Districting Commission Meeting 10 AM Carnegie Town Hall 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Debra Elofson, James Fry, Mark Millage, Jason Wierenga Members Absent: Jeffrey Eckhoff 1. 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Open House The open house was held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 2. 10 a.m. Call to Order Commission Chair James Fry called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. 3. Presentations A. Section 6.02, Sioux Falls City Charter Jeff Schmitt, Chief Planning and Zoning Official, reviewed Section 6.02(d), Districting Plan Criteria, of the City Charter. B. Option F (Recommended Plan) Commission Member Mark Millage reviewed Option F. C. Summary of Options B & E Schmitt reviewed Options B & E. 4. Public Comment There was no public comment. 5. Open Discussion City Clerk Tom Greco reviewed next steps for the Commission. The draft report will be reviewed at the Commission meeting of Thursday, June 22, 2017, and the final report will be submitted to the City Council at the City Council meeting of Tuesday, July 18, 2017. 6. Adjournment A motion made by Jason Wierenga and seconded by Mark Millage to adjourn at 10:41 a.m. Commission Chair James Fry called for a voice vote. All members voted yes. Motion Passed. Thomas M.
