Fiscal Committee Meeting

MINUTES Tuesday, September 2, 2014 Fiscal Committee 5:15 PM Carnegie Town Hall 235 West 10th Street Members Present: Council Member Kenny Anderson Jr., Council Member Christine M. Erickson, Council Member Dean Karsky, Council Member Greg Jamison Members Absent: None Staff Present: Lorie Hogstad, CMC, City Clerk; Jim David, Legislative/Operations Manager; Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst Guests: Council Member Rex Rolfing 1. Call To Order Committee Chair Greg Jamison called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. 2. Approval of Minutes A Meeting held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 A motion was made by Christine M. Erickson and seconded by Kenny Anderson Jr. to approve the minutes of the meeting held on April 1, 2014. Jamison called for a voice vote and all members voted yes. Motion Passed. 3. Reports and Updates A Fleet Management Methodology and Future Changes by Dean Borchardt, Business Operations Manager; and Scott Rust, Purchasing Manager Dean Borchardt, Business Operations Manager, presented information regarding fleet management. Discussion followed. Council Member Rex Rolfing shared his concerns with the committee. Scott Rust, Purchasing Manager, addressed questions. 4. Open Discussion  Jamison reminded the committee that the adoption of the budget will be held on September 16th. He encouraged councilors to meet with Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst, ask questions, and understand the budget prior to voting. 5. Adjournment A motion was made by Kenny Anderson Jr. and seconded by Christine M. Erickson to adjourn at 5:45 p.m. Jamison called for a voice vote and all members voted yes. Motion Passed.
