MINUTES Tuesday, January 6, 2015 Fiscal Committee 5:50 PM Carnegie Town Hall 235 West 10th Street Members Present: Council Member Kenny Anderson Jr., Council Member Christine M. Erickson, Council Member Greg Jamison, Council Member Dean Karsky Members Absent: None Staff Present: Lorie Hogstad, CMC, City Clerk; Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst Guests: None 1. Call To Order Committee Chair Greg Jamison called the meeting to order at 5:50 p.m. 2. Approval of Minutes A Meeting held on September 2, 2014 A motion was made by Kenny Anderson Jr. and seconded by Dean Karsky to approve the minutes of the meeting held on September 2, 2014. Jamison called for a voice vote and all members voted yes. Motion Passed. 3. Reports and Updates A Water Reclamation State Revolving Fund (SRF) Notes by Mark Cotter, Public Works Director and Tracy Turbak, Finance Director Mark Cotter, Director of Public Works, reviewed a PowerPoint presentation entitled SRF Loans 35 and 36 which included the following slides: 2010 Sanitary Sewer Assessment Projects Including Tier I and Tier II; Loan 35 - Brandon Road Lift Station Parallel Force Main; Loan 36 - Outfall Trunk Sewer Replacement; and Non-Point Source (NPS) Funds; and Summary. Tracy Turbak, Director of Finance, reviewed a PowerPoint presentation including the  slides: Terms of Loans; City Council Action. Turbak stated that an amendment to the CIP will be presented to the City Council to complete the project in 2015. Discussion followed. 4. Open Discussion Chair Jamison stated that Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst, is working on items to be presented to this committee at a future meeting. 5. Adjournment A motion was made by Christine M. Erickson and seconded by Dean Karsky to adjourn at 6:07 p.m. Jamison called for a voice vote and all members voted yes. Motion Passed. Lorie Hogstad, CMC City Clerk
