MINUTES Monday, April 11, 2011 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., Vernon Brown, James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, and Dean Karsky Members Absent: Mike T. Huether and Rex Rolfing Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations and Jamie Palmer, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Jamison called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. City Council Staff Report A. Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations Owen said that there has been a request to withdraw Item 14 on this evening’s agenda which will require an amendment to the Regular Agenda. 3. Fiscal Committee A. Report from meeting of Monday, April 4, 2011 Brown summarized the topics discussed at the meeting held last Monday. Anderson Jr. said that a Public Services Committee meeting will be held immediately following the Informational and said that there will be a minor change to the order of the agenda. 4. City Council Open Discussion Councilor Brown thanked Council staff for their help with the Council Forum held last Tuesday. Jamison gave a special thanks to Tamara Jorgensen for recording the questions during the forum. Jamison spoke about the proposed sewer rate increases. Discussion followed.  Discussion occurred about the proposed naming rights of the proposed events center that will be on this evening’s agenda. 5. Presentations A.
