MINUTES Monday, September 19, 2011 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., Vernon Brown, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, and Dean Karsky Members Absent: James Entenman, Rex Rolfing and Mike T. Huether Staff Present: Tamara Jorgensen, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Aguilar called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. Public Services Committee A. Report from meeting held on Monday, September 12, 2011 Anderson Jr. gave an update on the Public Services Committee meeting, which covered the following topics: An update on the Recodification Project by the City Clerk’s Office and the City Attorney’s Office; an update on the Wildlife Management Plan by the Parks and Recreation Department; and Proposed Revisions to Chapter 18 by the Public Works Department. 3. City Council Open Discussion Council Chair Aguilar asked the Council Members to respond to an invitation to the Bowden Youth Center for a tour and a meal after the Informational and Land Use Committee Meetings on Monday, September 26, 2011. 4. Presentations Item 4B was heard at this time. A. Proposed Revisions to Chapter 18 by Bob Kappel, Environmental Manager B.
