MINUTES Monday, March 19, 2012 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Dean Karsky, Rex Rolfing Members Absent: Vernon Brown and Mike T. Huether Staff Present: Denise D. Tucker, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Sue Aguilar called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. Staff Report No report. 3. Public Services Committee A. Report on meeting held Monday, March 12, 2012 Anderson Jr. said there was a discussion of the Naming Rights ordinance with Darrin Smith, Director of Community Development. 4. City Council Open Discussion Rolfing said next week's Land Use Committee Meeting is cancelled. He added that the Urban Agriculture Task Force will meet on Friday, March 30th at 3:30 p.m. at the Ronning Branch Library. Rolfing said they are finishing up the Community Garden section and will be discussing the animal section of the ordinance. Anderson Jr. asked Mark Cotter, Director of Public Works, to give the Council an overview of the recent water main breaks. Cotter gave a brief presentation. Discussion followed. 5. Presentations A. 2012 SculptureWalk Program Presentation by Jim Clark, SculptureWalk Director; Mike Cooper, Director of Planning and Building Services; and Russ Sorenson, Urban Planner  B. Downtown Greenway Project Quarterly Update by Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation; and Tory Miedema, Park Development Specialist 6.
