MINUTES Tuesday, May 28, 2013 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Kenny Anderson Jr., James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Dean Karsky, Rex Rolfing Members Absent: Sue Aguilar, Kermit L. Staggers, and Mike T. Huether Staff Present: Tamara Jorgensen, CMC, Assistant City Clerk; Lorie Hogstad, CMC, City Clerk; David Bixler, Budget Analyst; Jim David, Legislative/Operations Manager 1. Call To Order Council Chair Jim Entenman called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Entenman stated there have been changes to the seating assignments in the Council Chambers. He also noted there were the following changes in the Council Committee assignments: Council Member Sue Aguilar will assume the Chair position on the Fiscal Committee, replacing Council Member Dean Karsky. Council Member Michelle Erpenbach will assume the Chair position on the Operations Committee, replacing Aguilar. Entenman asked the Council to review the Committee Meeting assignments and let him know if there are any requested changes by June 7, 2013. 2. City Council Open Discussion There was none. 3. Presentations A. Monthly Events Center Project Update by the Administration Mark Cotter, Director of Public Works, provided a design and construction update. Mike Cooper, Director of Planning and Building Services, discussed event parking coordination. Darrin Smith, Director of Community Development/Public Parking, spoke about premium seating/sponsorships. Tracy Turbak, Director of Finance, provided a financial summary for the project.
