MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: David Barranco, Sarah Cole, Alex Jensen (arr. 4:03 p.m.), Rich Merkouris, Greg Neitzert, Marshall Selberg, Curt Soehl, Pat Starr Council Members Absent: None Council Chair Marshall Selberg called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. 2. Councilor Remarks Council Member David Barranco mentioned that there was still time for people to vote. 3. Presentations A. Kuehn Park & Frank Olsen Masterplans/Aquatics Bond by Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance; and Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation Presentation: Approximately 30 minutes followed by discussion Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation, began the presentation for the Kuehn Park & Frank Olson Masterplans/Aquatic Bonds. Additional presenters included: Tom Poulos, CEO of Williams Architect; Leon Younger, Principal of Pros Consulting; David Locke, Project Manager for Stockwell Engineers, Inc.; and Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance. The presentation included information from community discussions, previous master plan information, a listing of priorites, pro forma, a visual overview, and budgeting information (presentation attached to agenda). Discussion followed and answers were provided, to the Council, by Kearney, Poulos, Younger, and Pritchett. 4. Public Comment There was none. 5.
