MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: David Barranco, Miranda Basye, Sarah Cole, Rich Merkouris, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl, Ryan Spellerberg, Richard L. Thomason Council Members Absent: None Council Chair Curt Soehl called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Soehl congratulated Thea Rave on her one year employment anniversary as the Executive Support Coordinator for the Sioux Falls City Council. 2. Committee/Commission Reports A. Accessible Housing Advisory Board: Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (Council Member Merkouris) Councilor Rich Merkouris stated there was no formal action taken at this Board meeting. 3. Councilor Remarks Soehl reminded everyone that there was still time to vote in today's School Board Election. Councilor Jennifer Sigette mentioned that all City Council Members were present at today's Experience Sioux Falls 2025 Visitor's Luncheon. She congratulated ESF on their great work. 4. Presentations A. Request for Proposal vs. Negotiated Site by Dustin Powers, Business Development Coordinator, Planning and Development Services Presentation: Approximately 15 minutes followed by discussion Dustin Powers, Business Development Coordinator for Palnning and Development Services, gave a presentation on the redevelopment land sales process. Presentation is attached to the agenda.  Following the presentation, questions asked by the Council were answered by Powers. 5. Public Comment There was none. 6.
