MINUTES Operations Committee Meeting Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57104 1. Call to Order Committee Members Present: Rich Merkouris, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl Committee Members Absent: David Barranco Meeting called to order at 2 p.m. by Committee Chair Jennifer Sigette. 2. Approval of Minutes A. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 A motion was made by Committee Member Merkouris and seconded by Committee Member Soehl to approve the March 10, 2026 Operations Committee Meeting minutes. Voice vote to approve. Motion Passed. 3. Topics A. Draft 2027 City Council Budget Jody Moss, Budget Analyst, presented the proposed 2027 City Council budget (presentation attached to the agenda). Following the presentation, questions asked by the committee were answered by Moss. A motion was made by Committee Member Soehl and seconded by Committee Member Merkouris to recommend approval to authorize the Budget Analyst to submit the draft budget to the Finance Department. Roll call vote to recommend approval. 3 Yes: Soehl, Merkouris, Sigette; 0 No: (None). Motion Passed. 4. Public Input There was none. 5. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 2:07 p.m. Jermery J.
