Unfinished Business No Unfinished Business New Business a. 2025 Program of Projects Hearing Staff: Bren Schweitzer Chair Johannesen opened the Public Hearing for the presentation of the 2024-2025 Program of Projects by Public Hearing. All 5307 funds presented will be used for Operating Expenses for Sioux Area Metro. Board Member Joni Tschetter made the motion to adopt Public Hearing - Program of Projects 2024-2025. Executive Order 163 Subject: Process for Public Comment Prior to Fare Changes or Major Reductions in Service of Sioux Area Metro Updated 3/2025 Staff: Bren Schweitzer The Executive Order #163: Process for Public Comment Prior to Fare Changes or Major Reductions in Service of Sioux Area Metro, has been amended to reflect the inclusion of On-Demand transit service as well as updated the public notification process. Operations Report a. February Operations Report Staff: Glenn Wright/Torin Kalberg  Ridership data was provided as available. On-Demand ridership has seen its greatest numbers to date in March. On-time performance for Paratransit has also remained above goal of 93%, showing as high as 97%. One-Stop bus location on the Outbound Red Route was reviewed. Public input on non-agenda items - Chair There were 11 people present in-person and virtually. Public input included conversation on the following. - App use and questions to include wait time windows, appreciate the text information available, seeing scheduled para rides for future rides. - Vehicle purchases/choices - concern on the limited space with the new Front Runner vehicles for power chairs. - All are encouraged to contact SAM directly with immediate concerns rather than wait for the PTAB meeting.
