MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: Miranda Basye, Sarah Cole, Rich Merkouris, Jennifer Sigette, Ryan Spellerberg, Richard L. Thomason Council Members Absent: David Barranco, Curt Soehl Meeting called to order at 4 p.m. by Council Vice Chair Rich Merkouris. 2. Committee/Commission Reports A. Experience Sioux Falls - BID Board: Tuesday, March 25, 2025 (Council Member Thomason) Council Member Richard Thomason stated he was unable to attend this meeting but was able to provide an update received from other attendees. B. Riverline Steering Committee: Tuesday, March 25, 2025 (Council Member Merkouris) Council Vice Chair Rich Merkouris gave the report from the Riverline Steering Committee. C. Urbanized Development Commission (UDC): Wednesday, March 26, 2025 (Council Members: Barranco, Basye, Cole, Thomason) Council Member Miranda Bayse gave the report from the Urbanized Development Commission. 3. Councilor Remarks There were none. 4. Presentations A. Economic Development Partner Organizations by Bob Mundt, President & CEO, Sioux Falls Development Foundation; Lynne Keller Forbes, President & CEO, South Eastern Council of Governments; Dr. Cory Clasemann, President, Southeast Technical College  Presentation: Approximately 30 minutes followed by discussion Bob Mundt, Lynne Keller Forbes, and Dr. Cory Clasemann gave updates on their respective Economic Development Partner Organizations (presentations attached to the agenda). Following the presentations, there was some discussion, and the questions asked by Council were answered by the presenters. 5. Public Comment There was none. 6.
