Task Force Goals That a task force is hereby established in order to study homelessness within the City of Sioux Falls, and make recommendations for policies to reduce said homelessness over the next ten-year period. Resolution 65-22 5. Task Force Objectives 1. Recommend a policy that guides future city involvement, if any, with local shelter capacity and availability needs. 2. Recommend a policy that guides future strategies for how the City engages with homeless individuals on the street. 3. Review current strategies, and identify opportunities for housing homeless families. 4. Review current housing needs, and recommend a strategy that identify opportunities to expand 30- 40% AMI housing units. 6.
