VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES
March 26, 2026

Minutes – Resolution #2026-65: On the motion of Trustee Evans, seconded by Trustee Richards, it was
resolved and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes of March 12,
2026, as presented.
Correspondence & Announcements – Mayor Sennett noted the following:
● Receipt of the 3/13/2026 NYCOM Advocacy Update.
● Receipt of Tree City USA Designation letter.
● Receipt of updated 2026 water monitoring requirements from the County Health Department.
New Business
Authorize the Mayor to sign the contract with Tony Baird Controls for MacKay OnStreet Parking
Meters to be paid as needed out of A-3320-4 Meter Admin.
Mayor Sennett and Trustee Zapata reviewed this and believe it is best to perform regular maintenance on
our meters while working toward a long-term plan.
Resolution #2026-66: On the motion of Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Evans, it was resolved
and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to authorize the Mayor to sign the contract with Tony Baird
Controls for MacKay OnStreet Parking Meters to be paid as needed out of the A-3320-4 Meter Admin.
Consider Summer Hours for Electric and DPW staff.
Mayor Sennett said that Trustee Evans proposed the summer hours begin on Monday, May 4, and end
after Friday, September 4. Trustee Richards would recommend they start after Memorial Day. Trustee
Zapata said that September weather continues to be very nice. Asst. Superintendent Sell said that April
20th is when they start brush pick-up. They like to get started early. He said it’s dark by 6:30 in mid-
September so he thinks ending summer hours a week after Labor Day would be appropriate.
Resolution #2026-67: On the motion of Trustee Evans, seconded by Mayor Sennett, it was resolved and
unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to approve summer hours for all of Municipal Operations for 2026
beginning April 27, and concluding September 11.
Approve budget transfers as recommended by Treasurer Hanno.
Resolution #2026-68: On the motion of Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Zapata, it was resolved
and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to approve budget transfers as recommended by Treasurer Hanno.

Authorize Mayor Sennett to sign the agreement with webCemeteries.
Trustee Richards said the company we were using has decided to leave the cemetery business. They made
an arrangement with webCemeteries to take over our contract. There is still mapping to do in several
quadrants which this company should complete by the end of the year.
Resolution #2026-69: On the motion of Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Evans, it was resolved
and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to authorize Mayor Sennett to sign the agreement with
webCemeteries.
Consider the request by Daniel Kringer’s group, “Off the Dock Chamber Festival” to perform at
the gazebo on June 14, 2026.
Resolution #2026-70: On the motion of Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Richards, it was resolved
and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to approve the request by Daniel Kringer’s group, “Off the Dock
Chamber Festival” to perform at the gazebo on June 14, 2026.
Authorize DMO Posella, DDMO Pagano, and Line Workers, Dries, Benesch, Pavlus, Marshall and
Touchette, to attend the 2026 IUOTA Safety Conference August 17-19 to be paid from account EE-
8120-200.
DMO Posella said this is a really good safety conference. The MEUA and Irby, a supplier, are hosting it
this year. They are being encouraged to send as many utility staff as possible to join.
Resolution #2026-71: On the motion of Trustee Evans, seconded by Trustee Zapata, it was resolved and
unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to authorize DMO Posella, DDMO Pagano, and Line Workers Dries,
Benesch, Pavlus, Marshall, Touchette, and Asst. Superintendents of Public Works Sell and Kieffer to
attend the 2026 IUOTA Safety Conference August 17-19 to be paid from account EE-8120-200.
Consider 250th Anniversary Committee requests.
Mayor Sennett said there is a committee working hard on a 250th Anniversary celebration. Trustees
Richards and Evans have been attending the planning meetings. Trustee Evans said he has been very
impressed with the committee and their process. He said they have been very inclusive and open to ideas,
which has led to the current plans. Trustee Evans also spoke of the parade, and the food truck plans for
the 2nd. Trustee Richards agrees with Trustee Evans that this has been well-organized. This will be
further discussed at a future meeting.

Authorize DMO Posella to order 13 new Rubbermaid Landmark Series Trash Cans from Uline for
$12,153.72 to be paid for from AA-5110-220-50.
Resolution #2026-72: On the motion of Trustee Evans, seconded by Trustee Richards, it was resolved
and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to authorize DMO Posella to order 13 new Rubbermaid Landmark
Series Trash Cans from Uline for $12,153.72 to be paid from account AA-5110-220-50.
Public Comment – Mayor Sennett asked for public comment.
Mayor Sennett noted that Chris Grilli was out by the bakery today cleaning up outside of the shop to
make it look nice. She said it would be a huge help if property owners continue to clean in front of their
shops and residences.
Approval of Bills – Resolution #2026-73: On the motion of Trustee Zapata, seconded by Trustee Evans,
it was resolved and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to pay the bills.

Executive Session – Resolution #2026-74: At 7:27 p.m., on the motion of Mayor Sennett, seconded by
Trustee Evans, it was resolved and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to enter Executive Session on
attorney/client advice.
Resolution #2026-75: At 8:12 p.m., on the motion of Mayor Sennett, seconded by Trustee Evans, it was
resolved and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to come out of Executive Session.
Adjournment – Resolution #2026-76: On the motion of Mayor Sennett, seconded by Trustee Evans, it
was resolved and unanimously carried (4-0 in favor) to adjourn the meeting at 8:13 p.m.
