Call to Order and Roll Call. Eric Shives 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Minutes. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve minutes of April 21, 2025 as written; Vice Chair Washington seconded. A vote of 4 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved the minutes. 4. Public Hearing a. A25-02: A request to annex property located along Lawes Street; identified as Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and a portion of Lot 19, Square 3A of Lindberg Glen Annex No. 2; into the City of Slidell; and establish City zoning classification as A-8 High Density Urban. Introduced by Chair Reardon. Mr. Brian Macaluso, property owner, was present and answered questions by the Commission. Director McElmurray addressed the Commission and recommended approval. Vice Chair Washington made a motion to approve A25-02 and forward to City Council with a favorable recommendation. Commissioner Duffaut seconded. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved A25-02. b. S25-09: A request to subdivide one plat of a 0.282-acre portion of Tract C and a 0.233-acre portion of Tract C into Lot C1 in Section 44, Township 9 South, Range 14 East, City of Slidell, Greensburg Land District, St Tammany Parish, Louisiana, located at 3180 Pontchartrain Drive. Introduced by Chair Reardon. Mr. Khalil Jamhour, owner was present and answered questions by the Commission. Director McElmurray addressed the Commission and recommended approval. Commissioner Duffaut made a motion to approved S25-09. Commissioner Green seconded. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved S25-09. Planning Commission Minutes for May 19, 2025 Page 1 of 2  c. S25-10: A request to subdivide five lots located along Hoover Drive in Lindberg Glen Annex, Square 3, and one lot located along Lawes Street, in Lindberg Glen Annex, Square 3A, into six lots located in Lindberg Glen Annex, Square 3, fronting on Hoover Drive and Lawes Street. Introduced by Chair Reardon. Director McElmurray addressed the Commission and recommended approval. Commissioner Green made a motion to approve S25-10, subject to approval for annexation by the City Council, and with the understanding that when it is resubdivided, it will be resubdivided into 12-foot portions that will be rezoned C-2 until such time as the City starts deliberations on the new zoning map and have said lots rezoned residential. Vice Chair Washington seconded. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved S25-10. 5. Other Business a. There was no other business. 6. General and Public Comments. There were none. 7. Adjournment.
