CALL TO ORDER
Committee Chair Dunn called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

Deb Bell, Sr. Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report for the following item:
1. Ordinance 24-040, relating to construction projects - - Apprentice 2024-0946
and Priority Hire Program; amending Chapter 3.05 SCC
Nathan Kennedy, Finance Director and Ken Klein, Executive Director,
responded to questions regarding work load and resources.
ACTION: Move to Administrative Matters, General Legislative Session May 15th
to set time and date for public hearing.
Jim Martin, Sr. Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report for the following items:
2. Motion 24-194, authorizing the Snohomish County Executive to 2024-0183
sign Amendment No. 1 with Gordon, Thomas Honeywell
Governmental Affairs (GTH) to provide Professional State
Governmental Affairs Relations, Lobbying, and Related Services
for Snohomish County
Committee Vice-Chair Nehring requested information on timetables and Mr.
Martin indicated he will research the matter and respond accordingly.
ACTION: Move Proposed Substitute Motion to Consent Agenda, General
Legislative Session May 22nd for consideration.
3. Motion 24-211, approving the apportionment of 2023 Public Utility 2024-0886
District Privilege Taxes
ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session May 22nd for
consideration.
4. Motion 24-196, approving a budget transfer in Grant Fund 130 for 2024-0793
funds received from the Washington State Department of
Commerce
ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session May 15th for
consideration.
