Drewel Building & Remote Meeting PRESENT: Committee Chair Mead Committee Vice-Chair Low Committee Member Nehring Committee Member Dunn Committee Member Peterson (remote) Cynthia Foley, Council Staff Cheri Danner, Assistant Clerk of the Council CALL TO ORDER Committee Chair Mead called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that five members were present. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no persons present wishing to provide public comment. Page 1 of 2 Health and Community Services Meeting Minutes July 09, 2024 Committee ACTION ITEMS Cynthia Foley, Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report for the following items: 1. Ordinance 24-054, approving and authorizing the County Executive 2024-1303 to sign an Interlocal Agreement between Snohomish County and the city of Lynnwood for behavioral health facility Responding to Committee Member Low, Ms. Foley will inquire with the Prosecutor’s Office about the ordinance being approved as to form, prior ordinance being moved forward. 2. Motion 24-260, approve and authorize the County Executive to 2024-1278 Execute the State Home Energy Assistance Program (SHEAP) contract S24-32608-081 with the Washington State Department of Commerce ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session July 17th for consideration. 3. Motion 24-261, approving Amendment #5 to the Puget Sound 2024-1304 Taxpayer Accountability Act (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreement with Everett Community College Committee Member Dunn inquired about a website containing contracts and annual reports and Ms. Foley indicated that a website is being developed. ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session July 17th for consideration. 4. Motion 24-264, authorizing the Executive to sign the Agreement for 2024-1336 Substance Use Peer Navigation Program with Ideal Option PLLC ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session July 17th for consideration.
