Clerk of the Council CALL TO ORDER Committee Chair Nehring called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. and provided instructions for those wishing to provide public comment for both in-person and remote via Zoom . ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that four members were present. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no persons present wishing to provide public comment. Housing Panel Discussion #3 2023-0289 Mayor Kyoko Matsumoto Wright, City of Mountlake Terrace Councilmember Gary Petershagen, City of Lake Stevens Mayor Sid Roberts, City of Stanwood Discussion ensued regarding the cost of housing; policy approaches; and actions taken by local government agencies to aid in home ownership. [Clerk's Note: Housing Panel Discussion #1 was held at the Planning and Community Development Committee on January 17th and Housing Panel Discussion #2 was held at the Planning and Community Development Committee on February 21st] 2. Coordination for Multi-Jurisdiction Development Processes 2023-0293 Ryan Countryman, Council Staff, responded to questions and comments from Committee Member Mead and Committee Chair Nehring regarding the balance of efficiency, environmental safety, and transparency in relation to multi-jurisdiction developments.
