VILLAGE OF SOLON SPRINGS Regular Board Meeting Notice & Agenda Monday September 28, 2015 at 7:00 pm Meeting location: Solon Springs Community Center 11523 S Business Hwy 53 in Solon Springs, WI 54873 7:00 p.m. Call the regular monthly meeting to order. 1. Business by Public If you would like to speak before the Village Board, please sign your name on the sign-up sheet prior to the Board meeting. Due to requirements of the Wisconsin Open Meeting Laws, only matters placed on this agenda may be approved by the Board at the meeting. Citizens may address the Board regarding items which require no action. No personal attacks on individuals will be allowed, and all comments by members of the public shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length. 4.1 People signed up to speak: 5. There will be no separate action on these items unless a Board Member Board utilizing a single vote. All licenses approved are contingent upon meeting Village Code requests, and the Board approves. Communications are on file in the Clerk's Office and may be viewed in their entirety during regular office hours. 5.1 Approval of minutes for 7/27/15 board of review meeting minutes, budget meeting minutes and regular board meeting 8/24/15. 5.2 Treasurer's report August (Profit and Loss, and Reconciliation Detail). 5.3 Approval of payments for General fund checking and Sewer fund checking; all listed on the Expenditure report dated September 28, 2015. (Please see 09/28/15 expenditure report for details.) 5.4 Correspondence received since the August 24, 2015 regular meeting to be acknowledged and placed on file: a) Letter from Roger Nelson on blight properties in the Village and signage b) Letter from USCLSD requesting the Village’s flow meter readings for 2015 c) Letter from Douglas County Highway Dept. on LRIP meeting date of October 7 5.5 Approval of Zoning permit applications: a) Ryan and Ashley Carlson – shoreline restoration, landscaping b) Jeffery and Susan Heller - shoreline restoration, landscaping c) Harold and Anne Grossman - shoreline restoration, landscaping d) Anthony Burger – excavation and backfill of over 50 cubic yards. e) George Fairfield – renewal of permit #1866 to replace windows and siding on home Add entrance door, steps and small deck. Replace shingles on garage and home. Replace wire fence with a wood fence. f) Yorman-Nickel Trust – new foundation with partial basement, replace windows, siding and roof. Interior remodeling, new plumbing and electrical, furnace.
