Village of South Blooming Grove Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing April 16, 2015 Thursday 7:30 P.M.  Call to order o Chairperson Stuart Greenberg called to order the Zoning Board of Appeals Public Hearing on April 16, 2015 at 7:33 p.m.at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Stuart Greenberg - Chairperson o Sonia Ayala – Member o Peter Piampiano – Member Also Present: o John Furst, Esq. – Village Counsel  Business o Miami Property Group application:  Richard Croughan, attorney for applicant is seeking a side yard setback variance and a total side yard setback variance to allow for an existing carport to an existing residential dwelling on real property situated at Section 205, Block 9, Lot 29, said property also known as 25 Merriewold Lane North.  The applicant submitted proof of mailing along with certified return receipts and returned cards.  Exhibit 1 – pictures of the carport from various angles were submitted.  The application was deemed complete by the Board.  The public hearing notice was published in the Times Herald Record.  Public Comment o Andrew Cook, Merriewold Lane South, Monroe, NY asked why a variance was needed? Also, asked if there were any changes or additions being done to the house? o Motion to close the public hearing at 7:39 p.m. made by Member Piampiano and seconded by Member Ayala. 3 Ayes.
