Village of South Blooming Grove Zoning Board of Appeals August 27, 2015 Thursday 7:30 P.M.  Call to order o Chairperson Greenberg called to order the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on August 27, 2015 at 7:33 p.m.at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York. Chairperson Greenberg opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Chairperson – Stuart Greenberg o Sonia Ayala – Member o Peter Piampiano – Member The following persons were also present: o Dennis Lynch, Esq.- Village Special Counsel.  Adoption of Minutes o Motion to accept the regular meeting minutes of the July 16, 2015 and the July 16, 2015 continued public hearing minutes made by Member Ayala, seconded by Member Piampiano. 2 Ayes, 1 Abstain.  Escrow Review o Chairperson Greenberg reviewed the ZBA escrow statements and bank statements.  Correspondence o Orange County Department of Planning August 7, 2015 reply letter regarding Sleep Inn Hotel.  Business o Gerald and Linda Gaglidardi’s Sleep Inn Hotel Application before the Zoning Board of Appeals was presented by Ciro Gagliardi. He discussed the property and informed the board that this project is on an 11 acre lot (pending subdivision) wherein 1.1 acres will be used for a Sleep Inn Hotel, containing 81 rooms. He exhibited plans and discussed the feasibility study and traffic study recently performed. Linda Gagliardi and Ciro Gagliardi also discussed their additional applications pending before the Village Board and Village Planning Board regarding this project. The pending applications are for special land use permit, subdivision and site plan development. o Chairperson Greenberg inquired about the entrance to the Sleep Inn Hotel. He also asked why there was no long form EAF. He inquired about why they would need a variance if it will be a new building. o Ciro Gagliardi stated that this subdivision will include a well. o Chairperson Greenberg stated that a Public Hearing would be scheduled for September 24, 2015 at 7:30pm.
