Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 8, 2016 7:00 P.M.  Call to order o Deputy Mayor Hickey called to order the Village Board Meeting at 7:00 pm on February 8, 2016, at the South Blooming Grove Fire Department located at 819 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Robert Jeroloman – Mayor o John Hickey - Deputy Mayor o James Mullany - Trustee o Dorine Sas – Trustee o Dennis Lynch, Esq. – Special Counsel o James LoFranco - Trustee  Public Comments o Matthew DeRosa, 331 Lake Shore Drive, would like an update on Lake Anne and the environmental concerns. The Mayor advised bankruptcy and well testing for the water o Victor Zammit, 29 Virginia Ave, heard that Lake Anne was out of bankruptcy and a grant from Governor Cuomo for the water. o Herb Weisman, 20 Virginia Ave, wants to know how do we allocate funds regarding the grant for the water. o Rob Howell, 4 Hawks Nest Road, wants to know what to do to avoid being author of Airmont. The attorney disabled peddling and soliciting laws. o Sarah Howell, 4 Hawks Nest Road, concerned about the water. She also said that there is 15-20 people in a house, a violation was issued. o Tori Pricone, 7 Sears Road, is concerned with the bankruptcy, how many properties are considered block busters. o Tommy Bayer, 8 Sears Road, is concerned with the codes being enforced if they are broken. o Carol Egan, 38 Dallas Drive, is concerned with the homes for rent are not being publicized, wants to know who enforces this. She said the building inspector came to the home three times. o Patricia Valentine, 2 Houston Road, is concerned with a house being labeled a house of worship.  Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 8, 2016 7:00 P.M. o Eddy Johnson, Straus News, asked about what the status of Lake Anne was. o Ed Slivinski, 7 Duelk Ave, is concerned with all the houses selling, they are selling no matter what. o Donna McGoldrick, 44 Dallas Drive, is concerned with the problem of people knocking on doors saying “I want house”.  Trustee Comments o Trustee Mullany would like evidence on the real estate problem.  Correspondence o Washingtonville Little League Sports Permit Application for Village Park beginning March 1, 2016 and ending July 31, 2016.  Abstract o Motion to adopt the abstract by Trustee Hickey seconded by Trustee Sas; 5 Ayes, 0 Absent.  Adoption of Minutes o Minutes from the January 25, 2016, meeting were adopted. Motioned by Trustee Mullany seconded by Trustee Sas.  New Business  Resolution No. (7) – Granting a permit to allow the use of the Village’s Baseball Field by the Washingtonville Little League pursuant to Chapter 30 of the Village Code. Motion to accept by Trustee Mullany, seconded by Trustee LoFranco. Resolution passed. 5 Ayes – Mayor Jeroloman, Deputy Mayor Hickey, Trustee Mullany, Trustee Sas and Trustee LoFranco, 0 Absent.  Executive Session  Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 8, 2016 7:00 P.M. o Motion to enter into executive session to discuss attorney client matters at 10:05pm by Trustee Sas, seconded by Deputy Mayor Hickey. 5 Ayes, 0 Absent. o Motion to exit closed session at 10:40pm by Trustee Sas, seconded by Trustee LoFranco. 5 ayes, 0 Absent.  Adjournment o Motion to close the meeting by Trustee Sas, seconded by Trustee LoFranco at 10:43pm. 5 Ayes,0 Absent.
