Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 22, 2016 7:00 P.M.  Call to order o Mayor Robert Jeroloman called to order the Village Board Meeting at 7:01 pm on February 22, 2016 at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Mayor – Robert Jeroloman o John Hickey – Deputy Mayor o James Mullany - Trustee o Dorine Sas – Trustee o James LoFranco- Trustee o Dennis Lynch - Esquire  Absent o Joe McKay – Esquire N/A  Public Comments o Vicky Codner, 34 Hawthorne Drive – Speeding in neighborhood. Debris is pick up – Bulk garbage now more. Dallas and Pine Hill cars are parked along the road. o Tamya Cuomo, 7 Dallas Drive, sold her home – never received anything in the mail until recently but received 2 different real estates. o Yoel Wagschal, 9 Kingsville Drive, he’s been here for nine years. There are rumors going around, never received an apology. Yoel, his wife and children have been physically stalked, asked us to protect all for basic human rights. o Matthew DeRosa, 331 Lake Shore Drive, he feels threatened with the constant badgering to sell his home. o Vivian Oleen, 50 Mountain Road, o Michelle Rivera, 35 Dallas Drive, called about the offer and said 250,000 Bi-level but never got an address. o Donna McGoldrick, 44 Dallas Drive, is concerned with the garbage. Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 22, 2016 7:00 P.M. o Sarah Howell, 4 Hawks Nest Road, said that are strange vans at the dead end. There are random cars which is a safety concern which are speeding and stalking. o Victor Zammit, 29 Virginia Ave, disagrees with Trustee Hickey and feels voting is an attempt. o Brian Mullen, 33 Duelk Drive, the land is being cleared and would like to know why. o 180 Farmingdale Road, would like to have extra patrol at night because of the noise. o Pam Hall, 15 Dallas Drive, wants an additional building inspector. o Thomas Bayer, 8 Sears Road, did the inspector find the complaints regarding the garbage. o Gloria Guilamo, 52 Virginia Ave, thanks us for the newsletter and also wants to know wabout the buses. Is there a late bus? o Kathy Aldinger, 77 Duelk Ave, is concerned about the traffic when the hotel comes in. o Carol Egan, 38 Dallas Drive, is concerned about the water and the hotel. o Eddie Johnson, Straus News, would like to know the statue of Keen Equitries – bankruptcy. o Patricia Valentine, 2 Houston Ave, her family is being harassed, she notified the police chief and she says nothing is being done. o Scott Morrice, 28 Pine Hill Road, asked about the foreclosure regarding Keen Equitries. o John Salka, 25 Woodard Road, is concerned about Lake Anne and the violations with Lake Anne. o Yvonne Hewlett, 10 Houston Ave, is concerned about the Whorly Heights sign. o Karen Vlacci, 20 Sears Road, people are using her driveway for u-turns. Someone also hit her mailbox. o Romero, 18 Dallas Drive, is concerned with the traffic with the new hotel.  Correspondence o None.  Mayor Comments Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 22, 2016 7:00 P.M. o None.  Trustee Comments o None.  Abstract o Motion to accept the abstract by Deputy Mayor Hickey, seconded by Trustee Sas, abstract accepted. 5 Ayes  New business o (8) Resolution to schedule a public hearing on March 14, 2016 at 7:00 pm regarding an amendment to Chapter 75 - Residential Solicitation. Motion to accept by Trustee Sas, seconded by Trustee LoFranco. Resolution passed. 5 Ayes –Mayor Jeroloman, Deputy Mayor Hickey, Trustee Mullany, Trustee Sas and Trustee LoFranco. o (9) Resolution to authorize payment for the continuation of litigation regarding challenges to Annexation Petitions filed concerning property in the Town of Monroe, New York to be annexed to the Village of Kiryas Joel, New York. Motion to accept by Deputy Mayor Hickey, seconded by Trustee Sas. Resolution passed. 5 Ayes –Mayor Jeroloman, Deputy Mayor Hickey, Trustee Mullany, Trustee Sas and Trustee LoFranco.  Executive Session: o Motion to enter into executive session to discuss pending litagtion by Trustee Sas, seconded by Trustee LoFranco at 8:37 pm. 5 Ayes. o Resolution to authorize Special Council to file a complaint to appropriate agencies in regards to concerns of illegal/questionable real estate practices. Motion entered by Trustee Sas, seconded by Trustee LoFranco. 5 Ayes. o Motion to exit Executive Session by Trustee Sas, seconded by Deputy Mayor John Hickey at 9:15 pm. 5 Ayes.  Adjournment o Motion to close the meeting by Deputy Mayor Hickey, seconded by Trustee Sas at Village of South Blooming Grove Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 22, 2016 7:00 P.M. 9:21 pm. 5 Ayes. 5 Minutes respectfully submitted by Kerry Dougherty, Village Clerk
