Village of South Blooming Grove PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUED Monday January 27, 2020 7:01 P.M. ➢ Call to order o Mayor LoFranco called to order the Continued Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on January 27, 2020, at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York. ➢ Roll call The following persons were present: o James LoFranco- Mayor o John L. Ross – Deputy Mayor o James Mullany - Trustee o Sue Anne Vogelsberg – Trustee o Johnny Belfort - Trustee ➢ Public Comments o Attorney McKay explained the Petitioners’ steps with the Village Board and the Planning Board and that the petition to enter the sewer district is one of the final steps. o John Hickey, Merriewold Lane South stated that he supports the petition. o Guy Jones, Blooming Hill Farm is in support of the petition. o Moshe Halpern, Kingsville Drive is in support of the sewer addition, it brings revenue. o Linda Gagliardi, Bailie Lane advised that she is paying a substantial sum every quarter for sewer as per the developer’s agreement. o Steve, Dallas Drive advised that the Sleep Inn is a good asset to the community. o John Salka, Woodard Drive is in favor of the petition and asked what the difference is between in district and out of district. He added that the Hotel is wonderful. o Bonnie Rum, Lake Shore Drive now understands that the petitioned sewer is already included in the County Sewer calculations. o For the record Mr. Gagliardi and Attorney McKay clarified that the pump station is private and will not be dedicated to the Village. ➢ Adjournment o Motion to close the public hearing at 7:21 p.m. by Deputy Mayor Ross, seconded by Trustee Mullany. 5 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Mullany and Trustee Belfort.
