Village of South Blooming Grove REGUALR MEETING Tuesday November 23, 2020 7:00 P.M.  Call to order o Mayor Kalaj called to order the Village Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on November 23, 2020, at the South Blooming Grove Fire House located at 819 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o George Kalaj- Mayor o Abraham Weiss – Deputy Mayor o John L. Ross – Trustee o Yitzchok Feldman – Trustee o Scott B. Ugell, Esq. – Village Attorney o Kerry Dougherty – Village Clerk o Joel Stern – Confidential Assistant to the Mayor ABSENT: Trustee Belfort Isaac Eckstein – Legislative Aide  Mayor’s Comments: o Happy Thanksgiving to all!  Correspondence: o none  Public Comments o See attached. (Mayor stated all written public comments will be answered via email in the next day or two.)  Business o Resolution No. (76) – Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the formation of the Keen Transportation Corporation. Motion to accept by Deputy Mayor Weiss, seconded by Trustee Feldman, 4 Ayes, Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, and Trustee Ross. Absent- Trustee Belfort. o Resolution No. (77) – Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the formation of the Clovewood Transportation Corporation. Motion to accept by Trustee Feldman, seconded by Deputy Mayor Weiss, 4 Ayes, Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, and Trustee Ross. Absent- Trustee Belfort.  Trustee Comments o Trustee Ross: Asking for better job on Pledge of Allegiance; questioned if link to bus schedule could be listed on our website or Facebook; broken popup tent on corner of Duelk and Duelk should be removed; wants to make sure that all public comment emails are answered; encouraged board to not get defensive or combative during public comment part of the meeting; asked everyone to continue social distancing. o Trustee Feldman: wished everyone a healthy and happy Thanksgiving. o Deputy Mayor Weiss: no comments.  Adjournment o Motion to close the meeting at 8:40 p.m. by Trustee Ross, seconded by Trustee Belfort. 4 Ayes, Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, and Trustee Ross.
