Village of South Blooming Grove special MEETING Friday May 21, 2021 11:00 AM  Call to order o Mayor Kalaj called to order the Village Special Board Meeting at 11:00 a.m. on May 21, 2021 via Zoom Webinar #93083432258 for the Village of South Blooming Grove located at 819 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Mayor’s George Kalaj – Mayor o Abraham Weiss – Deputy Mayor o Yitzchok Feldman– Trustee o Asher Guttman - Trustee o Zalmon Rosner – Trustee o Scott B. Ugell, Esq. – Village Attorney o Rosemarie Vega – Deputy Clerk  Comments: o The Mayor advised that we are still waiting for the Orange County Health Department to come and inspect the water filtration and give us a green light on it, so we can put it online. Until then it is just doing nothing.  Business o Resolution No. (055) – Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Orange & Rockland Utilities for the upgrades, installation and maintenance of up to 30 LED street lights on Route 208 for a one-time charge of $30,152.48. Motion to accept by Deputy Mayor Feldman, seconded by Mayor Kalaj. 5 Ayes, Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, Trustee Guttman and Trustee Rosner. o Trustee Guttman asked if this was in the new budget or the previous year, the Mayor advised the previous.  Adjournment o Motion to close the meeting at 11:05 a.m. by Mayor Kalaj, seconded by Trustee Rosner. 5 Ayes, Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, Trustee Guttman and Trustee Rosner.
