Village of South Blooming Grove Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting Minutes December 09, 2021 7:30PM  Call to order Chairperson Yehoshua Bittman called to order the Zoning Board of Appeals on December 09,2021 at 7:32 p.m. Broadcast via Zoom Webinar Meeting for the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208.Chairperson Bittman opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Roll call The following persons were present: o Yehoshua Bittman - Chairperson o Peter Piampaino– Member o Chaim Goldstein- Member o Dennis Williams– Alternate Member o Rosemarie Vega – Deputy Clerk o Al Fusco – Village Engineer  Adoption of Minutes o Motion to adopt minutes of November 10,2021 meeting by Chairman Bittman, seconded by Member Goldstein. 4Ayes, 0 Nays  Correspondence o Department of Transportation – 2 Duelk  Business o Resolution of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of South Blooming Grove Chairman Bittman made a motion to grant conditional approval for the following bulk variances for 2 Duelk (1) One side yard reduction from 20’ to 14’(2) total both side yard reduction from 45’ to 29’,(3) rear yard reduction from 50’ to 17’ Subject to the following conditions (1) Review of Orange County Planning Department Comments. (2) Review of New York State Department of Transportation Comments. (3) Filed lease for Parking with the Village of South Blooming Grove Village Board. Seconded by Member Chaim Goldstein. 4 ayes, 0 Nays o Resolution of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of South Blooming Grove has declare itself to be lead agency under SEQRA for an unlisted action and based on environmental review agents a negative declaration of environmental impact for (2 Duelk) 4 ayes, 0 Nays o Resolution of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of South Blooming Grove has advised that the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove is going to give the property a fifty (50) year lease for the project (2 Duelk) 4 ayes, 0 Nays o Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of South Blooming Grove has received the SEQRA EAF and 239 GML has been sent to the Orange County Department of Public Works and the New York State Department of Transportation (2 Duelk)  Village of South Blooming Grove Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting Minutes December 09, 2021 7:30PM o The New York State Department of Transportation has comments regarding pedestrian and ADA access and the Village Engineer has spoken to them and will consider improvements for pedestrian access.  Adjournment o Next meeting is scheduled for January 13,2022. o Motion to close the meeting at 7:55 p.m. made by Chairman Bittman and seconded by Member Piampaino. 4 Ayes, 0 Nays.
