Consideration and possible action to approve Mayor Joe Soto’s reappointment of Bobby Long, Dottie Long and Danny Martinez to a two-year term on the Crime Control and Prevention District’s Board of Directors from August 31, 2021 through August 31, 2023; the appointment of Mark Johnson to replace Shirley Savell who is stepping down; and the confirmation of Joe Fraga, Sue Jones and Judy Rodriguez McCollum as members through August 31, 2022 7. Consideration and possible action on a Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Houston, Texas, approving the Harris County CDBG regular program grant application for Main Street drainage improvements including a commitment of $62,500.00 to be paid from the South Houston Economic Development Corporation as required matching funds for the grant. Total project costs expected to be $250,000 8. Consideration and possible action to ratify Mayor Joe Soto’s submission, to the Texas Division of Emergency Management on July 27, 2021, for the acceptance of award terms for an allocation to the City of South Houston, under the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds provided under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, in the amount of $4,320,891.38 9. Consideration and possible action on a Resolution of the City Council of the City of South Houston, Texas, approving and authorizing the submission of an application for the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds established under the American Rescue Plan Act for 2021 to the United States Department of Treasury for stormwater and wastewater improvements in the amount of $4,320,891.38, certifying that said  application meets the community’s previously identified infrastructure needs and the requirements of the Coronavirus Local Recovery Fund Program, and authorizing all actions necessary to accept and expend funds, not to exceed $4,320,891.38, to execute any agreements, submit reports, and implement and complete the activities outlined in said application 10. Consideration and possible action on the minutes of the regular council meeting held on August 10, 2021 11. Consideration and possible action on Finance Resolution No. 2021-16 authorizing payment city vendors and contractors submitting invoices 12. Council’s Reports 13. Mayor’s Report 14.
