Approval of the financial reports for the various funds for the period ending August 31, 2019. PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL - D. Bartoshevich 1. Motion to adopt the items in the consent agenda. 2. Council Representative Alderperson Ramon Navarro will give a summary report on the Senior Center Board. Reminder that Council Representative Alderperson Brett Briesemeister will give a summary report of the Board of Education at the October 15, 2019 Common Council meeting. 3. Reminder that on October 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. the Finance Committee will review the proposed City of South Milwaukee 2020 Operating Budget in the Common Council Chambers. Discussion/possible motion to accept Firefighter Jacob Noll's letter of resignation. 6. Discussion/possible motion regarding employee health insurance plan for 2020. LEGISLATION & PERMITS COMMITTEE — B. Briesemeister 7. Discussion/possible motion on applications for bartender licenses filed by Amy L. Infante, 3048 S. 10th St., Milwaukee, and Joshua A. Hoover, 77936 S. Drexel Ridge Way, Oak Creek, for the 2019-2020 license period. Council Agenda — October 1, 2019 8. Discussion/possible motion on a resolution to amend the Administrative Fee Schedule to create a Fire Department/EMS — Nuisance Assessment Fee (Per Service Call). PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY — C. Maass PLAN COMMISSION — B. Briesemeister 9. Discussion/possible motion on the Plan Commission recommendation to approve a Conditional Use Permit to construct a detached garage at 720 Hawthorne Avenue, zoned R-A Residential, with a height of 23 feet 3 inches, to match the architectural style of the principal building. 10. Discussion/possible motion on the Plan Commission recommendation to approve the Certified Survey Map to divide property known as 303 Nicholson Avenue, zoned R-A Residential, creating 16,118.4 sq. ft. Parcel 1 with an existing single-family dwelling, and 15,059.8 sq. ft. Parcel 2, a vacant lot. REPORTS OF THE MAYOR MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS — City Attorney 11. Discussion/possible motion to impose a nuisance assessment against the property located at 2804 South Chicago Avenue. 12. Discussion/possible motion to commence legal nuisance proceedings against the property located at 103 Brookdale Drive. Adjourn.
