Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan update. CONSENT AGENDA a.) Approval of minutes from the March 18, 2025 Common Council meeting. b.) Accept the resignation letter of Police Officer Caitlin Schmidt, effective April 8, 2025. c.) Approval of Financial Reports for the various funds for the period ending January 2025. d.) Approval of Financial Reports for the various funds for the period ending February 2025. PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL – Ald. Briesemeister 2.) Motion to adopt items in the consent agenda. Reports of Standing Committees HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE – Ald. Clark 3.) Discussion/possible motion regarding wage placement for the part-time Police Clerk. LEGISLATION & PERMITS COMMITTEE – Ald. Pieper 4.) Discussion/possible motion regarding Nedriona Thomas’ operator (bartender) license application for the 2024-2025 license year. 5.) Discussion/possible motion an application for “Class B” Beer and Alcohol license, filed by Virtue Coffee WI, LLC, DBA Virtue Coffee & Wine Bar, Dottie Kieckbusch, Agent, for the premise at 1234 Milwaukee Avenue, for the 2024 – 2025 license period. PUBLIC WORKS & PUBLIC PROPERTY – Ald. Maass 6.) Discussion/possible motion regarding the City Vehicle Anti-Idling Policy. PLAN COMMISSION – Ald. Briesemeister 7.) Discussion/possible motion regarding the parking plan for the Canal Transit Lofts project proposed at 2318 10th Avenue. Council Agenda – April 2, 2025 1 8.) Discussion and presentation of the draft South Milwaukee Comprehensive Plan Update 2050. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS – Health Department 9.) Discussion/possible motion regarding a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Zone E Community Emer- gency Preparedness (PHEP) Coordinator. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS – Fire Department 10.) Discussion/possible motion to authorize the Fire Chief to purchase a new vehicle for the Mobile Integrated Health program using opioid settlement funds in an amount not to exceed $33,000.
