BOARD OF POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL NOTICE - REVISED SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 12, 2020 The South Milwaukee Board of Police and Fire Commissioners will meet for a Special Meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located in the South Milwaukee City Administration Building, 2424 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172 AGENDA 1. Call to order/roll call. 2. Approval of minutes from the May 12 and May 28, 2020 meetings. 3. Election of Police & Fire Commission officers. Police Department 4. Discussion/possible motion on request to begin process to establish a new police officer eligibility list. 5. Discussion/possible motion to approve appointment of auxiliary police officer. 6. Discussion regarding promotional process for anticipated vacancies in the ranks of police lieutenant and police captain Fire Department 7. Certification of firefighter eligibility list. 8. Request for authorization to interview and conduct background investigations on a sufficient number of eligible candidates from the current certified eligibility list to fill the vacant firefighter position. 9. Discussion on upcoming captain’s vacancy due to retirement. 10. Discussion/possible motion on request to begin process to establish a new firefighter eligibility list. 11. Adjourn.
