SOUTH ST. PAUL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES OF OCTOBER 16, 2017 Mayor James Francis called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017. ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor James Francis Councilmembers Flatley, Forester, Hansen, Podgorski Absent: Councilmember Rothecker and Seaberg Also Present: City Administrator, Stephen King Attorney, Bridget Nason City Engineer, Chris Hartzell City Clerk, Christy Wilcox City Planner, Peter Hellegers 5) Presentations There were no presentations. 6) Citizens’ Comments Bernie Beerman discussed the hours of Kaposia Landing and requested the City to consider the placement of a sign with the hours listed. Tom Barger presented the City with a Thin Blue Line flag and a sign in appreciation of the Police Department and their service to the community. Monica Schlemmer discussed the possibility of a variance for her 2018-19 chicken license fee and only charge her the recommended fee that will be considered by the City Council as part of the budget hearing in December.
