SOUTH ST. PAUL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES OF JULY 17, 2018 Mayor James Francis called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Francis Councilmembers Flatley, Forester, Podgorski, Rothecker and Seaberg Absent: Councilmember Hansen Also Present: City Administrator, Stephen King City Administrator, Joel Hanson City Attorney, Kori Land City Clerk, Christy Wilcox City Engineer, Chris Hartzell 5) Presentations  There were no presentations. 6) Citizens’ Comments  There were no citizen comments. 7) Agenda Moved by Seaberg/Forester MOVED: To approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 6 ayes / 0 nays 8) Consent Agenda Moved by Flatley/Forester Resolved, that the South St. Paul City Council does hereby approve the following: A. City Council meeting minutes of July 2, 2018 B. Resolution No. 2018-121, approving accounts payable C. Hiring of Maxwell Wallin as IT Specialist for the City of South St. Paul, contingent upon successful completion of a background check D. Business licenses City Council Minutes of July 17, 2018 1 E. Resolution No. 2018-120, accepting bids and approving Cleaning Services Agreement with Advantage Structure Valet F. Resolution No. 2018-122, accepting gift from Ann Meehl to purchase bike care in memory of her late husband, Robert Meehl G. Purchase of a four wheel drive vehicle at the airport to replace existing car that is being used H. Resolution No. 2018-123, accepting Gifts and Grants from South St. Paul High School and the South St. Paul Baseball Association for funding of two pitching screens I. Waiver of the $480 Kaposia Park Pavilion rental fee and the $80 Kaposia Park picnic shelter fee for a military picnic by the US Army National Guard Holman Field 34th Aviation Combat Brigade J. Final Closeout of FAA Grant 3-27-0093-17-17 SRE – Loader, Plow and Pusher K. Purchase of emergency replacement of the switches that make up the City’s core network stack L.
