Spearfish City Council Regular Session Minutes January 3, 2023 5:30 p.m. The Spearfish City Council met at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Mayor Senden presided and called the meeting to order. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Clark, Hourigan, Jacobs, Klarenbeek, and Rath. Absent: Hodgs. Also present: City Administrator McFarland, Finance Officer DeNeui, Public Safety Director Rotert, Public Works Director Broyles, City Planner Kapsa, and Parks and Recreation Director Ehnes. All stood and recited the pledge of allegiance. Klarenbeek moved, Hourigan seconded and all voted to approve the agenda as presented. No potential conflicts of interest were noted. Public Comment – At 5:31 p.m. a time for public comment was opened and closed with no comments being received. Consent Agenda – Clark moved, Hourigan seconded, and all voted to approve the consent agenda as follows: A. Approve the minutes of the City Council regular session dated December 19, 2022. B. Approve the minutes of the City Council special session dated December 28, 2022. C. Approve the 2023 volunteer listing as provided. Other Items Change Order – Hourigan moved, Clark seconded and with Clark, Hourigan, Jacobs, Klarenbeek, and Rath voting aye, motion passed to approve change order #1 for the Elkhorn Ridge Lift Station Project with an increase of $13,257.42 for Schedule A and an increase of $28,860 for Schedule C.
