Board of Adjustment – Following city council regular session on Monday, February 1, 2021 the Board of Adjustment will convene to hold a public hearing and consider Resolution 2021-03 – A Resolution Granting a Variance to Lot 4B Block 9, Green Acres Addition. City Planner Watson noted the request is to reduce the overall required on-site parking for a new multi-family housing project from 140 parking spaces to 102 spaces. A variance would require three criteria to be met and the Planning Commission and staff believe one of the criteria is not met and, therefore, recommend denial. Watson noted an update to the code of ordinances’ parking requirements for multi-family apartment projects will be presented to council for consideration. Committee forwarded the Resolution to full council with no recommendation. Public Comment The public comment section was opened at 4:28 p.m. and closed with no comments.
