Adjournment Chairman Mosher Motion Language Item 7.a- I move to recommend to the Spencer Board of Aldermen that they endorse the proposed Salisbury Ave. restriping project as presented by staff. This basically recommends reconfiguring this road to have one travel lane in both directions, a center turn lane where designated and bike lanes on both sides of this road. In addition, we recommend to the Board of Aldermen that they adopt a Statement of Consistency saying that this project is consistent with the Town’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the Town’s Bike and Pedestrian Masterplan Item 8.a- I move to recommend to the Spencer Board of Aldermen that they adopt the text amendment to Section 2.22 of the Town’s Development Ordinance, revising the language of this ordinance specifically controlling murals in the Town of Spencer per staffs recommendations in their memo dated 4.29.22 titled Development Ordinance Section 2.22 Amendment. In addition, we recommend to the Board of Aldermen that they adopt a Statement of Consistency stating that their action is consistent with the Town’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan and is for the betterment and welfare of the citizens of Spencer. Item 9.a- I move to recommend to the Spencer Board of Aldermen that they adopt updates to the Town’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan as presented in staffs memo dated June 14, 2022 titled Amendments to the Town of Spencer Comprehensive Land Use Plan. In addition, we recommend to the Board of Aldermen that they adopt a Statement of Consistency stating that their action is consistent with the Town’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan, specifically the recommendation on page 53 of that plan that suggests periodic updates of the plan, and that the updates to the plan are for the betterment and welfare of the citizens of Spencer.
