THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board Meeting Minutes April 17, 2017 CALL TO ORDER Doug D’Albini called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL Present: Doug D’Albini Darrell Beck Laila Reis George Eshnaur Absent: Mark Squire Staff Present: Ryan Crowley, Parks Superintendent Meeting Attendees: None APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Laila Reis, seconded by Darrell Beck to approve the agenda. Motion carried. FORMAL BOARD ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes: March 20, 2017 Motion by Laila Reis, seconded by George Eshnaur to approve the Minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION 2. Resident Trail Questionnaire: suggestions and recommendations were made by the board to add a heading, add an additional blank option and reword a question. The changes will be made by city staff. 3. Memorial Tree Program will be designed by providing interested parties with the acceptable trees, plaque specifications and location options. Residents will provide the tree, plaque and receipt for tree purchase. The Parks Division will assist or plant the tree at the agreed upon location and time. STAFF REPORTS 4. Arbor Day Proclamation will be made at the April 27th Council Meeting.
