THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board Meeting Minutes September 16, 2019 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Doug D’Albini called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Doug D’Albini Tommy Holland Carol Thomas Derek Buckridge Mark Squire Board Members Absent: None Staff in Attendance: Dillon Jones, Parks Superintendent Dora Davison, Administrative Assistant – Public Works PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Carol Thomas, to approve the agenda. Motion carried 4-0-0. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION There was no Citizen Participation. FORMAL BOARD ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes: August 19, 2019 Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Derek Buckridge, to approve the August 19, 2019 meeting minutes. Motion carried 4-0-0. DISCUSSION Fall Festival Parks Advisory Board Booth Staff will prepare an engaging booth activity at the event to facilitate increased community awareness of this Boards function. Mr. Jones invited Board Members to attend if possible. The event will be held September 28 from 10 am – 5 pm. Code Enforcement has been notified to address the situation. STAFF REPORT  Veterans Park Update - Mr. Jones reported the contractor for the project has been established. The complete scope of work will be discussed at the next City Council Meeting. Mr. Jones will continue to provide information as it becomes available.
