THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board Meeting Minutes December 16, 2019 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Doug D’Albini called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Doug D’Albini Tommy Holland Derek Buckridge Carol Thomas Board Members Absent: Mark Squire Staff in Attendance: Dillon Jones, Parks Superintendent Dora Davison, Administrative Assistant – Public Works PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Carol Thomas, seconded by Tommy Holland, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes: November 18, 2019 Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Derek Buckridge, to approve the November 18, 2019 meeting minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION Next meeting will be January 13th in the 401 Event Space of the Civic Center STAFF REPORT  Tree City USA Application for 2019 has been submitted.  Spring Hill Aquatic Center Consultation – Parks staff is awaiting the final recommendations from Waters Edge Aquatic Design. Mr. Jones requested board members assist with memorial design recommendations and possible funding sources. Tommy Holland stated the Spring Hill American Legion Post 350 would provide and maintain the flags that will be placed at the Veterans Memorial.  Parks Master Plan Update – The final meeting was rescheduled there is no update at this time. ADJOURN Motion by Tommy Holland, seconded by Carol Thomas, to adjourn. Motion carried.
